In Türkiye, House Sales Statistics March 2023 decreased by 21.4% compared to the same month of the previous year and became 105 thousand 476. İstanbul had the highest share with 17.2% and 18 thousand 166 house sales. The followers of İstanbul were Ankara with 12 thousand 23 house sales and Antalya with 6 thousand 120 house sales with the share of 11.4% and 5.8%, respectively. The provinces with the lowest number of sales were Ardahan with 23, Hakkari with 54 and Bayburt with 69 house sales.

House sales decreased by 11.5% in January-March 2023

In January-March period, house sales decreased by 11.5% compared to the same period of the previous year and became 283 thousand 215.

Mortgaged house sales became 25 thousand 262

In Türkiye, mortgaged house sales decreased by 16.5% in March compared to the same month of the previous year and became 25 thousand 262. Mortgaged house sales had 24.0% share of all house sales. In January-March period, mortgaged house sales decreased by 13.9% compared to the same period of the previous year and became 58 thousand 822.

8 thousand 811 of mortgaged house sales in March and 18 thousand 164 of mortgaged house sales in January-March period released as first hand sales.

Other house sales became 80 thousand 214

In Türkiye, other house sales decreased by 22.8% in March compared to the same month of the previous year and became 80 thousand 214. Other house sales had 76.0% share of all house sales. In January-March period, other house sales decreased by 10.9% compared to the same period of the previous year and became 224 thousand 393.

In Türkiye, first time house sales decreased by 14.2% in March compared to the same month of the previous year and became 32 thousand 899. First sales had 31.2% share of all house sales. In January-March period, first time house sales decreased by 11.2% compared to the same period of the previous year and became 83 thousand 907.

Second hand house sales became 72 thousand 577

In Türkiye, second hand house sales decreased by 24.3% in March compared to the same month of the previous year and became 72 thousand 577. Second hand sales had 68.8% share of all house sales. In January-March period, second hand house sales decreased by 11.7% compared to the same period of the previous year and became 199 thousand 308.

In March, 3 thousand 415 houses were sold to foreigners

House sales to foreigners decreased by 38.7% in March compared to the same month of the previous year and became 3 thousand 415. House sales to foreigners had 3.2% share of all house sales in March. Antalya ranked first with a thousand 324 sales to foreigners. The followers of Antalya were İstanbul with a thousand 90 house sales and Mersin with 240 house sales to foreigners.

In January-March period, house sales to foreigners decreased by 23.8% compared to the same period of the previous year and became 10 thousand 926.

 

House sales were mostly made to Russia citizens according to nationalities

In March, Russia citizens bought a thousand 175 houses from Türkiye. The followers of Russia citizens were Iran citizens with 472 house sales, Iraq citizens with 165 house sales and Ukraine citizens with 160 house sales.
