In Türkiye, house sales decreased by 9.5% in September compared to the same month of the previous year and became 102 thousand 656. İstanbul had the highest share with 14.9% and 15 thousand 247 house sales. The followers of İstanbul were Ankara with 9 thousand 48 house sales and İzmir with 5 thousand 476 house sales with the share of 8.8% and 5.3% respectively. The provinces with the lowest number of sales were Ardahan with 47, Hakkari with 55 and Bayburt with 77 house sales.

Houses sales decreased by 14.9% in January-September 2023

In January-September period, house sales decreased by 14.9% compared to the same period of the previous year and 900 thousand 74.

Mortgaged house sales became 8 thousand 446

In Türkiye, mortgaged house sales decreased by 50.2% in September compared to the same month of the previous year and became 8 thousand 446. Mortgaged house sales had 8.2% share of all house sales. In January-September period, mortgaged house sales decreased by 29.6% compared to the same period of the previous year and became 160 thousand 884.

A thousand 971 of mortgaged house sales in September and 48 thousand 865 of mortgaged house sales in January-September period were first sales.

Other house sales became 94 thousand 210

In Türkiye, other house sales decreased by 2.3% in September compared to the same month of the previous year and became 94 thousand 210. Other house sales had 91.8% share of all house sales. In January-September period, other house sales decreased by 10.8% compared to the same period of the previous year and became 739 thousand 190.

In Türkiye, first time house sales decreased by 15.2% in September compared to the same month of the previous year and became 30 thousand 488. First sales had 29.7% share of all house sales. In January-September period, first time house sales decreased by 13.9% compared to the same period of the previous year and became 268 thousand 597.

Second hand house sales became 72 thousand 168

In Türkiye, second hand house sales decreased by 6.8% in September compared to the same month of the previous year and became 72 thousand 168. Second hand sales had 70.3% share of all house sales. In January-September period, second hand house sales decreased by 15.2% compared to the same period of the previous year and became 631 thousand 477.

In September, 2 thousand 930 houses were sold to foreigners

House sales to foreigners decreased by 42.0% in September compared to the same month of the previous year and became 2 thousand 930. House sales to foreigners had 2.9% share of all house sales in September. Antalya ranked first with a thousand 7 sales to foreigners. The followers of Antalya were İstanbul with 978 house sales and Mersin with 211 house sales to foreigners.
