House Sales Statistics February – Houses sales increased by 22.5% in January-February 2022
In January-February period, house sales increased by 22.5% compared to the same period of the previous year and became 185 thousand 893.
Mortgaged house sales became 19 thousand 888
Other house sales became 77 thousand 699
In Turkey, other house sales increased by 16.7% in February compared to the same month of the previous year and became 77 thousand 699. Other house sales had 79.6% share of all house sales. In January-February period, other house sales increased by 16.9% compared to the same period of the previous year and became 147 thousand 822.
28 thousand 897 houses were sold for the first time
In Turkey, first-time house sales increased by 16.8% in February compared to the same month of the previous year and became 28 thousand 897. First-time sales had 29.6% share of all house sales in Turkey. In the January-February period, first-time house sales increased by 19.3% compared to the same period of the previous year and became 56 thousand 100.
Second-hand house sales became 68 thousand 690
In Turkey, second-hand house sales increased by 21.6% in February compared to the same month of the previous year and became 68 thousand 690. Second-hand sales had a 70.4% share of all house sales in Turkey. In the January-February period, second-hand house sales increased by 23.8% compared to the same period of the previous year and became 129 thousand 793.
In February, 4 thousand 591 houses were sold to foreigners
In January-February period, house sales to foreigners increased by 55.6% compared to the same period of the previous year and became 8 thousand 777.
House sales were mostly made to Iran citizens according to nationalities
In February, Iran citizens bought 711 houses from Turkey. The followers of Iran citizens were Iraq citizens with 633 house sales and Russia citizens with 509 house sale
